About Margaret.
Dear Friends,
My name is Margaret Harris. I have Downs Syndrome which has made me different from the rest of my family. I live in three places; Florida, Madeline Island and Wonderland when ever I want to. I believe I am very lucky because I figured out I am a miracle. I have adult age, a teenage body, and a child’s mind. What else could you ask for? I love writing . This is the second Wonderland book. The first I wrote, typed and did all the illustration myself. In this one my Mother, Annie Harris has done the illustrations. I wrote this book to teach a life lesson. Have you ever heard the saying "sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt. you."? Well, that is not really true. Names can hurt sometimes. I think we should look at people’s insides, not outsides. When we do this, we find that everyone is special in someway. Everyone is good at something. You can do anything you want, if you just believe in yourself. You’re smarter than you think. Believe in yourself, keep on dreaming, and anything can happen. I hope you enjoy this book.
